- Position Yourself Comfortably: Sit or lie down in a peaceful space.
- Place Your Hands:
- Right hand on your chest (to ensure it stays still).
- Left hand on your abdomen (to feel the movement).
- Inhale Deeply: Through your nose, inflate your belly like a balloon. Feel your abdomen expand outward and your left hand rise.
- Exhale Slowly: Release all the air through your mouth, feeling your belly deflate.
- Only your left hand should move; your right hand should remain still.
- Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth, making your exhale twice as long as your inhale.
- Repeat for 5 minutes, gradually increasing to longer sessions (4 seconds inhale with 8 seconds on exhale).
